Annotated Bibliography - Early Stages

This is a link to my annotated bibliography:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-c0kD_sd3ca3dy14Cg6l_0tOVCZQdaE-ZAm6YZW2ypc/edit?usp=sharing

I left a note, but I'll mention it here too!  A lot of interesting ideas came up while I did research for my inquiry topic, so I may be adding or possibly closing in my focus on fewer ideas as I create my presentation.

Thanks!

  1. Great work so far, Nicole, and I'm glad that your reading is taking you in new directions. This is a fascinating area of inquiry, and I'm really looking forward to your presentation! One suggestion if you're looking for works specifically on deaf learners and math is to check out articles by Lulu Healy and Solange Fernandes -- like, for example this one: https://library.oapen.org/bitstream/handle/20.500.12657/48204/9783319145112.pdf?sequence=1#page=154, or this one: https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-00834054/PDF/ICMI_STudy_22_proceedings_2013-10.pdf#page=62, or this one: https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/ED599791.pdf
